You know, what, though, that's so stupidly overpriced that unless you feel you HAVE TO HAVE 3-way video, the 5820 makes FAR more sense.
i wanted it for my latest build but i didn't want to pay 1k for just the processor... so i went with the 4 core instead.

Which one? While "nearly $400" is still pretty spendy, it's a lot more reasonable than the other one. Or did you go with a 4000-series?
Edit: hot damn, it's only $299 at Micro Center. You know there's one in Cambridge, right? Saving $100 is almost worth driving down there from where you are. Plus if you buy a motherboard you get another $40 off.
