What is the best order for poll meta-options?

Edit: Ignore this. I messed up the title.

Ignore this.
Who are you to tell us what to ignore?! I choose not to ignore it. So there!

Pastrami on rye.

Does that mean that we can hijack the thread?
If we derail a thread that has no rails can we still get a badge for it?
So many questions ...

Does that mean that we can hijack the thread?
... I think Ben did that himself. Before the topic even got started....

So many questions ...
Like: is derailing an abandoned thread really fun?
-
-
Should we try enrailing it?
That's a novel concept for this community - getting a derailed thread back on topic.
-
Erm, how do we do that?

I think that the best order for poll meta-options is least to most meta, followed by FILE_NOT_FOUND.
What are your views on this quandary, @faoileag?

Pulling? Nothing. I'm pushing.

I'm discombobulated, @KeithWhile I agree that FILE_NOT_FOUND should be last, the categorization "least" to "most" meta surely obfuscates the issue more than clarifies it.
I would rather sub-categorize meta iself, like in
- semi-meta
- meta
- more-meta
- meta-meta
- TDWTF-meta
This discussion would be meta-meta.
-
No FILE_NOT_FOUND-meta ?
-
What the hell are you trying to pull, @Luhmann?
My interpretation is that he is trying to distribute profanities in a way that is not easy to detect.
-
This discussion would be meta-meta.
And would the discussion about options in the meta-meta section be meta-meta-meta discussion?
What are your thoughts about ordering of poll meta-options, @Luhmann?

distribute profanities in a way that is not easy to detect.
Or in an more automatic way so lazy me doesn't have to type
Filled under: BELGIUM!
in every post.
-
There. FTFY.
-
But governing the meta-meta-meta discussion then should be done through a meta-meta-meta-meta topic? Maybe we can simplify this process by using mathematical notation: meta3 and meta4
-
And would the discussion about options in the meta-meta section be meta-meta-meta discussion?
But discussions about options in the meta-meta-meta category would be tdwtf-meta-meta-meta, because we are obviously abusing a feature brought to us be the wonderful people from Discourse to foster more civilized discussions on the web.
-
Now people will think I'm promoting BATHROOM.
-
Maybe we can simplify this process by using mathematical notation: meta3 ?
But that wouldn't be TDWTF way of doing things. With meta3 we can't really test if we can break Discourse by using a high number of meta-meta-meta-meta concatenations.
-
civilized discussions
I would say this is a rather civilized discussion, wouldn't you agree old chap? No profanities and stuff.

I have instigated a hostile takeover and demand that you change your avatar to the British Territory of Belgium flag above.

"The United Kingdom of England, Belgium and Wales"
Hmmm... has a nice ring to it ;-)

The United Kingdom of England, Belgium and Wales
I like how Wales gets moved to the end of the list by default.
Edit: It's actually impossible to enrail a topic on this forum. I think it was a valiant effort though.

the British Territory of Belgium
Funny fact: during the Belgium independence revolution in 1830 this was actually proposed but for some reason your King didn't wanted us.Jeremy Clarkson
Say no more ... we all know that his knowledge ends at the car door. It's actually impossible to enrail a topic on this forum.
Is it? It seems rather on topic to me. This is meta and I'm ordering my polls.
Also: since @ben_lubar created this topic he'll get a nice notification from all this

Oh, in that case... @presidentsdaughter, @mikeTheLiar, @blakeyrat.

Was this before you started making tasty chocolate?

That's a novel concept for this community - getting a derailed thread back on topic
This usually happens when someone new to the thread wanders in late and responds to the OP.

But then it's accidental.Edit: can be observed in the wild here.

When did N.I. have their referendum?

Chocolate and beer first

Ok, four. Four countries: The United Kingdom of England, Belgium, Northern Ireland and Wales

tastywaxy chocolate? The countries best known for producing chocolate (Switzerland, B*****m) do not necessarily make the best chocolate. This is good chocolate, although this is almost as good, and much more widely available. Although, granted, Swiss and B****ian chocolate is, on average, orders of magnitude better than the mass-produced dreck from Pennsylvania or, shudder, the used for stuff like chocolate Easter bunnies.
Chocolate pedantic dickweedery (mmm, the best kind of pedantic dickweedery):The world's best cacao comes from one particular village in Venezuela (whose name escapes me at the moment, and I CBA to look it up). Between them, the two companies I linked to consume pretty much the entire supply. (At one time, Valrhona took something like 90% of it, but then Amadei came in and befriended the villagers/outbid Valrhona, and took all of it. I'm not sure what the current situation is.) So anybody else's chocolate is inferior right off the bat.
The vast majority of the worlds supply of cacao comes from Côte d'Ivoire, and besides being lower-quality to begin with, much of it is mishandled, stored improperly, and allowed to become mouldy while awaiting shipment. This is what goes into mass-produced chocolate. I'm not saying this is what goes into B***ian chocolate, necessarily, but they don't get the best, either.

Listed in order of linguistic difficulty :)

What about San Fran?

What about San Fran?
Not as good as the two I linked to. How does it compare to Swiss or B***ian? I dunno; I'd have to do a side-by-side (preferably blind) taste-test to give a useful answer.
I used to eat a lot of Ghirardelli when I was young, before I knew what good chocolate was; not so much any more, because better is almost as readily available for not significantly more money. They are now owned by Lindt & Sprüngli; I have no idea what, if any, effect this has had on their chocolate, but if it has had any at all I would expect it to be more Swiss in style.
I haven't been terribly impressed by Scharffenberger the few times I've tried it, but even similar varieties from the same maker can vary significantly in flavor, and I have limited experience. Owned by Hershey, and in business for only eight years before being acquired; that doesn't inspire confidence.
Guittard, insufficient data. If there are any others in or near SF, I don't know anything about them.

They all taste like hyperglycemia to me.
