OK, I admit I haven't read that part carefully.
WHAT!??!?!?!? A PERSON ON DAILYWTF DIDN'T READ WHAT I FUCKING TYPED AND INSTEAD MADE UP SOME SHIT IN THEIR OWN DEFECTIVE MORON BRAINS AND SOMEHOW ATTRIBUTED IT TO ME? THEN REPLIED AS IF I HAD SAID THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!??!?!
What a shocker.
Also: fuck you. And fuck EVERYBODY who does that. If you don't understand something I typed, ask questions. Don't just fucking insert shit into your retard-brain and pretend I said it.

@blakeyrat As if you would answer any questions.

You'd delete them before he had the chance

Sue me.

@Gąska Just don't be a moron next time, ok? Let's try to reduce the level of "moron" on the Internets.
-
@blakeyrat as soon as you stop being uneducated idiot. Your statement about Hitler was bullshit mostly because suffering is unmeasurable - and if you were to measure by death count, he lost by a large margin to Stalin. But that's bullshit metric because there's more to life than just being alive.

Pfft. Don't hold your breath.

@blakeyrat oh, and I find it quite amusing that you admitted to being an idiot.

I was thinking about Allende
Right, because Pinochet was such a huge human rights improvement there.

@Khudzlin said in The US: saving the world from itself:
In French, the country is called Chili.
Huh, TIL. in spanish is Chile, and the chileans pronounce it Shile (like shirley)
And we don't use almost the same word for peppers and pepper.
neither do we. no serious language does that
-
@Jarry said in The US: saving the world from itself:

English is definitely not a serious language. It is a language for fucking about in.

up with whose ridiculous grammar nobody should be required to put.

Translation to hoo-mon: "What? Someone did the same thing I do? That's not allowed! Whaaargarbl!"

@blakeyrat Ugh. That scale is the worst fucking thing, because it leads stupid doctors to assume pain can be easily assessed in any meaningful way. I have to fill out a bunch of those every time I go in for a doctor appointment, so they can track if my pain is getting better or worse over time -- nevermind that I can't really decide if the sharp but infrequent pain my left knee has today is "worse" than the dull, constant pounding in my head last week.

Grammar is BS anyway. Or rather the problem is that most grammarians are busy trying to apply Latin rules to English, which is a bit like applying a duck's head to a horse. Or vice versa.

@Gąska The Phillipines have the best comics, all the comics with the Tikbalang are the best.
Nobody but the US can write superhero comics, though. They're American through and through. Like jazz music. Especially not Japan, and they really try.
Other countries can have adventure comics and funny comics and romance comics. But the US rules superheroes.
Japan doesn't need superhero comics, they have super robot comics. This is one area where you would not want to compete. The number of competing titles in Japan is madness.

It's been done quite superbly even so.

Well I suppose, but Boku no Hero Academia is really pretty great. I mean, I like Onepunch as well, but that was a parody and the anime made the wrong things about it popular.
