Profile customization is illogical

First of all, why do both "Edit" and "Settings" exist in the profile's ellipsis menu (which is already stupid):

Edit has things related to what is shown about you, I guess? But for some reason it also has login settings:

Settings has lots of stuff, including:

"Select the group title you would like to display"
"Show My Email"
"Show My Full Name"

But also things like

Pagination settings
E-Mail Notifications
Start page

This seems chaotic to me.
