YAIB (Yet Another Infiniscroll Bug)

@accalia demands to read this!

You are one of the few people that has seen chapter 1. One of the two paradoxes has already occurred, not that you'd actually know it's a paradox at that point in time. Paradox 2 occurs during chapter 3 where attention is drawn to it and one character even glibly tries to assert that it is impossible.
But the impossible happens anyway, of course.

So much of it is still in my head, but if I can pull it off, it'll be awesome.
-
if you pull it off i'm quite likely to do:

I really don't want to sound like Jeff, and I've certainly done my share to derail the topic, but this is a bug report, one of the few things on here that are meant to be taken somewhat seriously. Do you think we could switch (shunt) the literary discussion, spelling pedantry, etc. to another track? Just in case somebody actually wants to discuss the bug.
-
Sorry boss. It's just that I honestly didn't think the Discourse devs actually took the reports seriously any more anyway meaning that this board was mostly for off-topic and ranting about bugs that won't get fixed.
-
I don't suppose @PJH or @boomzilla would oblige us by splitting the topic?
i'd do it myself but that's TL4 (or mod. def not TL3)
-
Jeff has actually showed up here to talk about bugs a few times recently. (And maybe WTF fixes for them, but at least admitting you have a problem is the first step.) I'd kinda like to do my little bit to encourage that.
-
I'm not suggesting splitting out the existing posts, necessarily, just continuing it in a new topic.

I get the impression that a couple of them, at least, do lurk.
I don't suppose @PJH or @boomzilla would oblige us by splitting the topic?
Trouble with moving posts around is that the moved posts end up being tacked onto the end of the topic they end up getting moved to, rather than being shuffled in in a chronological order, so even if I were to move the posts to the new thread, it wouldn't make much sense.

foo. of course that happens.
discourse!
