Ok, now I'm curious. What do you think my name stands for?
-
Ok, now I'm curious. What do you think my name stands for?
Well that name could apply to either gender.
-
Yes, but you still haven't answered. What do you think it stands for?
-
Yes, but you still haven't answered. What do you think it stands for?
That was where I told you my name.

If he were alive, you'd get a Tricky Dicky Fun Buck to play with.
-
@Cleverbot, how do I summon you?
-
How do I summon you?
Because from what I know you gain your knowledge form the people you write with.
-
That's deep.
-
-
Well, it sounds deep.
-
Well, it sounds deep.
Yes but many things sound deep when they are, in fact, full of bullshit.
-
@Cleverbot, tell me something I could print on a t-shirt.
-
-
Anything you like.
-
-
Then tell me something I could print on a t-shirt about Tex Mex and the meaning of life.

You broke it, didn't you?
-
You didn't reply to it?

I thought I pressed the right Reply button, but now I can't be sure.

you didn't reply to it or @mention it.
@sockbot works the same way. you've got to summon him by @mentioning him in a topic and including a command (20d2pr) or by replying to one of his posts.

I've noticed you have to mentioned it in a specific way too.@Cleverbot, do you have to be mentioned at the beginning of a post, or just a a beginning of a sentence?
-
Do you have to be mentioned at the beginning of a post, or just a a beginning of a sentence?
No.
-
Or are you just looking for the string "@Cleverbot,"?
-
-
specifically you have to have a comma after the name, for cleverbot.
in the case of @sockbot, it's pretty much any common punctuation mark.
-
@accalia has summoned me, and so I appear.
-
Um, no, I simply replied to it at one point and it replied back, so it honours that too...?
-
I see.
-
I see.
What do you know?
-
yes, replying implicitly does the @summon dance at the beginnign fo the post.
-
Um, no, I simply replied to it at one point and it replied back, so it honours that too...?
I did that a lot, right above. Oh wait, you're talking about @sockbot, aren't you?
