Can't test Firefox easily enough, but there is another difference between mine and yours. You did yours on HTML, I did *. Yours inherits down, mine is applied to all elements.
Not a Firefox bug, if I do the same you did on Chrome, same result, buttons don't get uppercase.
-
text-transform:uppercase !important;
Can't figure out how to do that in FF\s inspector, and not that motivated to find out...
-
Switch to the Style Editor and put it in:
-
-
:first-line { text-transform: uppercase !important; } :first-letter { text-transform: lowercase !important; } :nth-child(even) { text-transform: uppercase !important; } :nth-child(odd) { text-transform: lowercase !important; }

It's not as good as the user style I installed on my boss' computer that uses transform:rotate(1deg) on each tag for each level it's nested (but with a media query depending on how wide his browser window is).

Yup, looks more modern. Definitely an improvement.
Is that an uppercase 1 for the notifications?
-
If you add
font-weight: bold !important
as well it's actually slightly less ugly.Slightly.
-
#menubar {text-transform: uppercase !important;} window {border:none !important; box-shadow:none !important; background:#fff !important} button {background:none !important; border:none !important;} textcursor {transition:all 0.3s !important;}
Approved by the Microsoft Office team.

Since when did the Office team understand usability?

Slightly relevant: I just bought an indie game pack and their "claim this page" page is looking pretty modern.
They do have a mixed-case heading and button border, I think for old-school nostalgia.
Filed under: these are some intense, in your face registration instructions

Menus that can't turn off the Caps Lock: Since this one seems to be lacking I thought I would make it up with some all caps topic title.
THANKS I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT MAN

Hah, that brought back memories of way too much time wasted reading bash.org:
It was supposed to. I just couldn't be bothered to dig the link out as I was reading in an airport and had a flight about to come up.“Normality” will be resumed today.

Yeah, I wasn't certain if it was paraphrasing or just serendipity. It was an excuse to link to the original anyway.
