The thread that never ends

(this title could probably describe any
post...)Something weird happens at the end of this Lounge thread (Lounge, so no snapshots).
If you click on the button below the last post to show the reply to it (there is one -- and yes, having a reply to what's supposed to be the "last" post of the thread is already weird), you see the reply but then if you scroll down a bit (or maybe just wait, I'm not sure) then a whole lot of other posts appear, starting with... the first post of the thread itself!
Scrolling down at some point sends me back to the start of the actual thread so I can't see if there is an actual recursive loop that never ends
but there's still something wrong.The reply to the last post of this thread is in another thread (the Lounge Status) and I don't know if this is because some posts were jeffed or someone posted a reply directly in another thread.

Some posts were jeffed into that thread, but it appears the reply wasn't; that reply is still in the original thread. That seems to confuse the poor, little

@HardwareGeek yes, I guess so. But managing to confuse it in this way seems quite a feat!

This is the part that surprised me more. Replies-to aren't supposed to paginate, are they? IMO the functionality to do so doesn't exist, so it's likely a reflection on the hack used to display them in the first place.
