How To Block Gribnit

- Subscribe. All the easy ways to block me depend on this.
- The next step on the easy way is to actually use the profile settings stuff to block me. Ask around for details on that.
- You didn't even subscribe? Well, try some site-specific CSS. But I've heard that only mostly works, so far.
- Wow. Okay, maybe you can read through an IFRAME? But the site might framebust, I dunno. If you have an XSLT pipeline for Java Script it'll help here.
- Damn, son. Well, the nuclear option is to write a browser plug-in. Work fast... plug-in APIs have a lifespan like tropical fish.
-
@Gribnit I'm afraid you're mostly harmless. No need to block you.
-
@PleegWat Mostly, maybe, but not entirely. He causes severe headaches in people to try to understand his posts.
-
I was ignoring @Gribnit before it was cool.

Your response to his thread suggests otherwise.

I ignore @Gribnit. I don't always ignore the people who reply to {him|her|it}.

Indeed. That's why I stopped trying.
-
More importantly @PleegWat is now a java developer. I know I like to say terrible things about him but I wouldn't inflict that upon him.

Not {them}? What makes you think there's only one of them in their head?

It's not that bad. @Gribnit mostly writes whole English sentences with (mostly) English grammar and out of (mostly) actual English words. That puts his posts ahead of a lot of text these days.

I don't know why but I feel vaguely insulted.

Nah. It's cool to ignore @Gribnit now. Perhaps it won't be...
Soon.

We'll work on that.

We're certainly capable of making the insults clear and specific.

Those are proof-of-work sections, without them the EFTs would have no value.

So you can take the other one, right?
-
@topspin doesn't matter - just arrange to appear on both tracks, if any.
-
@Gribnit Oh, I'm all for keeping it a mystery. Just use a Quantum Train and only when @topspin has been run over by the train you'll know which track he was on.
...
... maybe I got that "collapsing the wavefunction" thing slightly wrong here.
