The Jargon File said in http://catb.org/jargon/html/D/dumb-terminal.html :
dumb terminal
dumb terminal: n.A terminal that is one step above a glass tty, having a minimally addressable cursor but no on-screen editing or other features normally supported by a smart terminal. Once upon a time, when glass ttys were common and addressable cursors were something special, what is now called a dumb terminal could pass for a smart terminal.

Pretty sure that’s a type error.

not if the rest of the expression is also sin. It's a question whether mortal and venal sins are compatible, but that's more along the lines of
Exception/RuntimeException/Throwable
distinctions.

It makes about as much sense as asking what is log(5 kg), or pi^e or whatever was in that xkcd I can’t find right now.

I actually considered implementing complex numbers but actually I don't think I understand enough of the maths to implement them.
I am eyeing up boolean expressions, comparison operators, and the ternary operator though.

It's e to the i times pi, and it's a pretty big deal.
No, that’s exactly not what I meant.

The catapult misfired. Roll to see where the rock landed.

Maybe SQLesque
case 1d6 when 1 then 2 else 5 end
?Oh we can do rerolls with recursion there!

@error_bot eval !(1d6 > 3) && (1d2 == 1d2)

We have boolean types, comparison operators, and logical operators.

@error_bot eval false || 1d6
And weird coercion rules because JavaScript.
