If it hasn't been done already, some day someone will make a Firefox addon that takes anonymized screenshots.
-
It has been. Screengrab! can take screenshots of the visible area, or the whole page, or a selection. I have a feeling I've mentioned it on this forum before.
-
Yes, but can it obscure selected areas?
-
Not selected areas, but it'd work for the screenshot above - you don't even see the other tabs or the app window, just the web page itself.

OK, I don't get it ... what's the WTF ?

I dunno about you, but I don't think I've ever seen a hard drive enclosure with a magnifying glass, let alone a cylindrical one.

I could have done that, but I preferred to show the website address too, just in case someone wanted to visit the page to see if it was still the same. I think it gives it a little more "authenticity". I'm well aware anyone can cut and splice two images together to make it looks like that, but the picture was easier than figuring out how to post a working link.

...and de-anonymizes them.

I like the new prize. A loupe magnifier — for when even your loupes are too small.

The intermediate prize was the best, a "loupe magnifier enclosure" :-)
