£1
400gNO YOU FOOL
THAT IS ONLY £0.881849049

Is that a good deal? 400g for a pound?

Who the hell complains about a freaking slug on a strawberry on Twitter? It's produce, so you'll occasionally find small animals on it. Rinse it off as you always should and get over it!
-
Unsatisfied, he would then turn around and post the same thing directed at Sainsbury's:

I would be surprised to find a strawberry on Twitter. Or a slug-on-a-strawberry on Twitter. But I don't think I would complain.
Alternatively, what they really want to complain about is that it says "keep me in the fridge" and obviously that would be animal cruelty to do that to a slug.

@remi
Well, crap. I thought it was the slug who put that sticker there in the first place. A polar slug!

That's 12% less than usual.

@Gąska Another few posts in this thread and you guys are gonna get Ben L's joke. Congrats.
-
@blakeyrat maybe if he didn't fuck up the units it would be easier to understand.

If you look at his Twitter he appears to be one of those people who only uses it for social media complaints. Also, he previously complained about bugs in raspberries (which actually were from Tesco) and I loved this exchange:
Good on Tesco.
Edit: This guy's hilarious, but I obviously love companies standing up for themselves. "Can you arrange for someone to call me?" "Uh, no":

Well, yeah, he thought "Virgin Media" was the phone sex line. Naturally he was unsatisfied with the call.

Animal cruelty is acceptable against slugs as they've been scientifically proven to not have a soul

@stillwater Terrible deal, that's only 0.8818 grams per gram.
Oh wait, so that's what Ben's joke was about.

Aw, he got a reply that's likely going to encourage him:
