Civilised Mute doesn't keep Muted list saved

Note that the screenshot up top was the 3rd time I visited the Preferences page, so it had saved them at some point.
edit: Readded. See how this works.

Notice the list, which was saved. And now:

I had all the bots in that list before. Wonderful.

My muted list was cleared as well.

I think I found the bug: users expect consistency from Duckhorse instead of discoursistency. To correct, liberally apply discobat to users.
-
-
-
What... how... but...
Ok, I can't even feign I'm angry, this is great
And no, that's not bashing @sam, not this time, because If I did something like this I'd laugh at it as well. After the that is.
-
Yeah ... that WTF was totally worthy. Don't know what I was smoking that day.
-
I'm sure we've all done it.
-
inb4 @blakeyrant hating on @sam?
-
Why did you post the bat picture upside down?
-
Seeing if this sticks now:
-
Add MathBot to the list too; he's auto-liking in /t/1000
-
I'll refine the list when I'm sure it'll stay
-
My list loaded when I went into it, just added one and hit Save now. So, now the other question...
Looks like it works on ignoring Like notifications now. I only got the like notification from @accalia's robo-like, not any of the other bots. Yes, iPad, bots is a real word.
-
And I still have entries in my list.
Seems like it's working then.
-

I might be mistaken, but doesn't it only notify for the first like on any post? And the badges of course.
-

Theoretically yes, but the bots are so fast that more often then not you get multiple notifications.
That is one post in /t/1000
-
SockBot-based bots have an in-built jitter to try and avoid that; obviously, not all bots are based on SockBot.
-
Can't say I've experienced it, but then I'm not in the likes thread. Have the discodevsâ„¢ been informed of this bug?
-
not all bots are based on SockBot.
And not all bots are running on the version that implemented that feature
-
Have the discodevsâ„¢ been informed of this bug?
It is caused by bots ...
Honestly IRL two real people liking that fast after each other is rather unlikely.

Your thought experiment requires more users.
-

Some of them are, though.

Didn't stop us from having multiple posts having the same post number a few times in the past. Wouldn't be hard to think with enough users any action could have multiple people performing at "the same time" within odd result at the end.
-
multiple posts having the same post number
That was a bugger. The multiple notifications instead of one is more 'meh'.
more users
So yes more users like stuff would increase the chance of it happening.
And yes it is a bug but come one ... if there are low priority issues in this infested bug-hole then this is one.Dear Atwood,
I give you permission to put this specific issue where two users liking one post results in two notifications on low priority. If, and only if, you actually make fucking work of other bugs that are more important instead of wasting time with how roundyou areyour avatar is.Groenten,

At the same time, Discourse is quite happy to overwrite multiple reply notifications:
