nounA stated goal for TCotCDCK that is only really held to when it suits the DiscoDevs. It is cast to the side when it doesn't suit their needs and held up as the highest standard when their purposes require it. As an example, there have been statements indicating that Discourse should prevent gamification, yet the presence of a customizable badge system and the Users page (which was disabled here on WTDWTF for performance reasons) which allows easily comparing e-peen are in direct contradiction to that goal.

Discommunication
nounWhen the top clergy of TCotCDCK decides that a member of meta.d is no longer preaching the good fight or becomes outwardly hostile, they may call a council on giving the penultimate punishment: being barred from partaking in any further bikeshedding or bug discussions, and henceforth being outcast from meta.d.
This punishment means that the subject is forever unable to improve Discourse, having to falter in its apparent failings until the end of times (or moving on to another forum, which mostly comes sooner).
