Not all UFOs are actually flying objects. Some are reentering the atmosphere, or peacefully orbiting the earth.
So, really, the correct term is "UO".
Actually, there seems to be a new correct term, UAP.

@izzion That's only enough money to help 4.4M people, and only if it's the absolute easiest cases. Also you can't fix stupid, and it's a money pit to even try.

But I was assured we could fix world hunger for less than one sixth of that

Identical cousins all the way.I get that reference. However, I'm failing to remember the name of the actress who played the cousins.

Yesterday I ruined clothes after sitting on some tree sap.
Rubbing alcohol took most of the sticky stuff, but it still left stains.

I dare say some textile import businesses would notice: https://wits.worldbank.org/CountryProfile/en/Country/USA/Year/LTST/TradeFlow/Import/Partner/by-country/Product/50-63_TextCloth
And besides, the U.S. imported a hefty chunk of your nitrocellulose from Russia. What do you think might turn out to be imported from Pakistan? By the way things are going, I'm expecting the ink used for the dollar bills to be made in Pakistan or something.

Are eggs good for us? Are eggs bad for us? Don't know! Here are some plant-based eggs.

It costs me about two pounds for 15 eggs in Tescos. I will not take you seriously until you're in that price range.

Kinda. If the words reach the ears of its acolytes, the salesmen will be with you momentarily. And then your company will use SAP. So kind of like the devil. Except you can't get out as easily as taking Jesus into your life.

I don't remember off-hand, but I think it's closer to 2-3€ for 6 eggs here. That's of course not the cheapest option, but I dare say that if you buy from caged chickens instead of free range, you're not exactly the target audience for whatever this plant shit is.

Someone's ripping you off. £1.20 for 6 large free-range eggs here (just looked up the price at one of my local supermarkets).

I doubt I'll ever be the target audience for this meat replacement stuff. Fat and protein is >80% of my diet. The plant alternatives are just too expensive and the meat replacements are usually carby shite. Another thing I don't get is why they are trying to replace meat? Give us new textures and flavours at a better price.

Interesting. Aldi isn't usually known for being expensive, and (at least before the last 2-ish years of inflation-like-it's-the-20s) Germany isn't on the high end of grocery prices, but that's quite a large difference. Not that I care much.

My store doesn't sell packages smaller than a dozen (12) and the cheapest is about $3.50.
But I get my eggs from Sam's club at 7.5 dozen a pop for ~$17. Oh, wait, that's what I paid a month ago. Today they cost $26. Hmm...now that's more expensive than smaller amounts.
-
@boomzilla what time-frame do you eat 90 eggs in?
-
@topspin something like 2 - 3 weeks. Family of four.

We usually get them in packs of 15.

Since when do we express numbers in decimal amounts of dozens?

You could have said 0.625 gross.
-
@boomzilla It's only a shame it wasn't 6.5 dozen because then you would have bought a baker's dozen of half-dozens.

That's a bit of an odd one. The eggs I'm thinking of had a “price match with aldi” sticker on them. A bit runnier than usual and I'm convinced they gave me the runs a few times but I'm not about to argue with a month of breakfast eggs for under a tenner.

Rookie numbers. I go through a pack of 15 in a week.

@DogsB most of the others typically have 2 eggs per day for breakfast. I usually only eat them for breakfast on the weekends. Might use a few for other recipes for dinners.
