I started drawing up my exit strategy,
I work in support for a company that makes server based fax software. One of the features is to attach a file to an email, and fax the attachment
I've been asked how to Fax an mpeg as well as access db's. How does one fax a movie?
I used to work for an ODBC driver vendor. The stock Filemaker ODBC has some interesting eccentricities. Example, if you don't create a layout, it reports each string as the maximum size it could be, and the driver thoughtfully pads that out with spaces. Makes for pretty big recordsets in memory. It stores everything as a string, and converts to other datatypes on the fly, it seems. You can't trust what the driver thinks is the datatype unless you have that layout.
Some apps will look at the data and make a guess. Sometimes that works.

The operative phrase is "Many legal and constitutional scholars.." (not all). All you have to do not engage in hostilities or support hostilities against the United States, and you have nothing to be worried about -- you will not be unlawfully detained. Now is the so hard?
But the real WTF is the fact that this job is so blatantly discriminatory. It applies a philosophical litmus test to any candidate that is clearly illegal.
Habeas Corpus literally means "body of evidence", what the suspension here actually means is that the government can say you support hostilities and because you are not a citizens of the USA they don't have to show evidence of it, they do not have to prove it. If they want to just incarcerate a lot more people because they think their military detention facilities need more residents they can do so without any need for proof.
That's not exactly what it means http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habeas_corpus
In a nut shell, it means to produce the prisoner in court so a judge may determine if the evidence warrants it.
Also known as "The Great Writ," a writ of habeas corpus ad subjiciendum is a summons with the force of a court order addressed to the custodian (such as a prison official) demanding that a prisoner be brought before the court, together with proof of authority, so that the court can determine whether that custodian has lawful authority to hold that person, or, if not, the person should be released from custody. The prisoner, or some other person on his behalf (for example, where the prisoner is being held incommunicado), may petition the court or an individual judge for a writ of habeas corpus.
Without Habeas Corpus, the prisoner is not even required to acknowledged as in custody.
It's obvious. They did some googling and found this helpful site

They just generalized it to any card
Thank you for the group. I feel better now. I got somethings off my chest.

The first step is admitting you have a problem
Oracle "thoughtfully" includes the HS to allow you to connect to external data sources. They have a Free "generic" one included with the server that uses ODBC (and oledb on windows) to connect to anything, and server specific Gateways. Guess which one works? Guess which costs 5 figures+? Guess which one does stupid and potentially deadly things?
ODBC has functions to do things like, say ask for a list of fields in a table, and what are the datatypes. Does the free HS do this? Of course not. It does a 'select * from table', For each table in a query, fetches a row and checks the datatype, then drops the recordset.. Sounds ok? Try that on a MySQL 4 db (they added the ability if 5, but other db's have the problem). The client does not have a way to cancel the rs. You have to fetch the result to the client, before you can drop it. All the "elegance of a 'select *' and none of the data. THEN it pieces together and SQL statement (poorly, plenty of WTF's there) and runs the query.
Had a customer who was puzzled why his select that returned 1 record took 45minutes to complete. The table had ~500,000 rows, and was across a wan. He was real happy.........
Want to see some WTF's? Turn on the tracing if you are cursed enough
to have it configured. Marvel at the haphazard case handling. Wonder
at the datatype mappings.

The first step is realizing you have a problem........
I've been pounding on db's for a 12 years now. Designed multiple enterprise class apps that were db agnostic. I've found most of them (db's) to be useful, and relatively compatible with each other, at least at the datatype level. And then there's Oracle.
My greeting to the team was usually "Have I told you lately how much I hate Oracle"
Been using using this staggering achievement of Bloatware since version 7.1. 100mb+ CLIENT ONLY installs when most pc were limited to 540mb disks. Endless seldom used features set to ridiculous defaults requiring tweaking. Shoddy tools. Obsessive "extending" of SQL into a programming language, rather than a Structured Query Language. Non-standard datatypes. Silly network configuration. Insane Oracle Heterogenous Services (That's a whole other topic).
We usually had 1 dev branch for Oracle, and one for everything else. DB2 (wince) was easier to work with.
