Using IronPython as a scripting engine for an app

Hi there,
I am currently thinking about IronPython, and how it can be used as a fun CLI/scripting engine for a .NET 2.0 app written in C#.
I wonder, does anybody have any experience in doing things like this? Any tips or pitfalls you'd like to share?
I didn't start writing code for it except for a trivial proof-of-concept, but at a first glance it seems too good to be true.
