Firefox 33

Dammit, Mozilla! Are you being bribed by Google into killing Firefox?
-
There's an Add-On to de-worsify it:
-
Look good after changing preferences. (first impression was "woah, from excess to whitespace to virtually no whitespace at all")
It even updated a start page I had left open, without having to restart the browser.
Thanks.

That forum is on a different domain.
But you're the worst of the worst because that's the most useful feature in the history of computers!
Please reread my post again. You seem to be have a problem understanding.

Not at all. I was humo
u
ro
u
sly disagreeing with your assertion.

STFY
For a second I thought you wrote "STFU" and I was all "damn, he got overly upset," and then I re-read it and saw what you actually did, and THEN I thought "it's almost too bad I read it wrong the first time because I could've FTFY again, like so: "STF
U
".

Nope, that one was 'spellared that for you'
You should have done that, that would have been funny.
-
Huh, why don't you guys just use Pale Moon? Are you guys morons or something?
-
Palemoon on Linux is a bad idea.
He publishes his source in a 7z with broken permissions and deliberately breaks Linux UI conventions just because of some Ubuntu kids asking him to make the Linux defaults more Windowsy.
It's disgusting. And Palemoon on Windows just seems to be not better enough to bother installing.
I prefer stuffing the latest FF with add-ons.
-
To each their own. Pick whatever suits you. I too picked up Pale Moon with a LOT of hesitation at first, but FF by itself started going deeper into the crapware territory, and with Addons, it only got there faster (== too slow to load and respond). Pale Moon works a lot better (for me, anyway).

Well, a friend of mine really likes it, but he doesn't use Linux. And I just copy my .mozilla folder to my Windows partition when I occasionally use Win8.1 for games.

Bet you can't wait for 35 I think it was (I'm on 36 atm):
-
That page has been a thing since Firefox 15. Glad to see it's starting to actually look awesome though, looking forward to it being on by default in 35!
(about:config ➜ browser.preferences.inContent)
Edit: That's something they need to fix though. Nobody knows what E10S is, and few people know what Electrolysis is. It needs some sort of new blander name like Crash Protection, or some better marketing materials.
Filed under: we need a new tag cloud to attack, Discoursistency in editing, too!
-
Not sure what else has changed in the UI that I've gotten used to though.
