Or maybe don't.

I don't see why people have this delivered when you can make it so easily at home. Sure, baking soda is a little pricey, but who doesn't have a few 50-lb sacks of lye handy?
-
@Gribnit if you pay attention to the video you'll see that it also takes good words / emotions to put into the water to make it so great.

We can always stand a bottle of water on a printout of a smiley emoticon. That's good enough, yes?

I thought “magic water” was code for Sprite.

Why do you need a code for Sprite?
-
@Gribnit I worked a summer job where I was only allowed to give water to employees. A cup of Sprite looked the same at a glance as a cup of water. Thus, the differentiator.
-
@Zenith so much more sense now this makes.

'magic water' is what they give soccer athletes writhing on the field in pain to alleviate their pain and allow them to play on. It is extremely effective, seems to mend broken bones in seconds.

That sounds like aqueous diacetylmorphine. And here I thought they were being injected with the alcohol metabolite of cortisone.
Ah, wait, soccer players, yeah, they are preternaturally susceptible to the placebo effect.

soccer athletes
Yeah there's no way they could beat your 0-Meter Chair time, or your Downhill Roll.
