Well, that is where it chokes, apparently - the closing braces.
I didn't really poke too much. I managed to make a template that doesn't bother it now. I don't have the time for more detailed analysis right now.

Not necessarily. It also requires full attendance.

No it doesn't:Active member for a year, posted at least once

So... wait...
Oh, mine didn't get ported, did it? So I'm a few days away I guess.

If you were ported over, that means @onyx and I both joined a couple of days after that happened. Which is weird because I thought I signed up on Discourse after the old forums had been dying for a while and there were cryptic mentions of a new forum

Then I misread "Campaigner" as "Champagner" (German word for "Champagne").

Status: Even more confused than usual, somehow. Someone linked the thread where Jeff was talking about bluing all the things, and then someone asked about the whole incorrect back button thing. Jeff said CNR on windows and chrome. The guy said, 'Happens on this device and my nexus 7'.
@codinghorror said:
Oh you are on mobile. Yeah that's different.
WHY!?
-
Because Discourse is so slow on mobile, they decided to speed up the process of navigating back by detecting when going back one page would be Doing It Wrong. In these cases the first back is skipped and you go straight to two pages ago

Quite what the difference is between a user and a member I'm not sure (unless it's as simple as an Disirregular Discoplural... one user, two members...)

So I found out that the dragging to change tabs in Sleipnir isn't the part that keeps surprising me. I thought I was accidentally catapulting myself by accidentally right clicking while moving my mouse. It turns out, though, that holding right click makes your scroll wheel apply to tabs, which is bizarre... but at least now I know why these things are happening.

Had Xbox Live Gold for several years.

So, basically, the one that charges more than, is less populated than, and has less/the same games as Steam?
...Seriously, thousands? Great job there, Microsoft. You're only planning a billion for Win10.

Sort of. Steam doesn't provide its own servers, Xbox Live does; that's what you're paying for.

โฆoh yeah!

I don't know, and I know it doesn't have Destiny, but those are both very subjective.

What is subjective about "Steam doesn't have Madden"?
You have perplexed me.

That's a valid mouse gesture in Opera.
It turns out, though, that holding right click makes your scroll wheel apply to tabs, which is bizarre...
Also, ancient Opera shortcut. Been in there at least since... 9? Quite likely before? Not in 15+ of course.Yes, that was the daily edition of "shit Opera had ages ago and now it's new and novel in other stuff".
-
"shit Opera had ages ago and now it's new and novel in other stuff".
That it's new isn't the point I'm trying to make. The point is, sometimes when you're scrolling, you tap right click. If you don't know that feature is there and wake up in another tab, you have no idea what's going on. It's an alright feature, but it's really awful to find accidentally.

I guess it could be tricky on a laptop? Dunno. Never did it by accident so...

Except for Dota 2, TF2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, ...
-
Well, yeah, apart from themโฆ
Why do I have that scene from Life of Brian playing in my head now?

How long does it take to load them? If it's more than a second or two, then yes ;)

I think you should include elaborate loading screens that take longer to render than the game does to load.
-
Status: Another forum I'm on has just updated to the latest version; it has round avatars
-
Well, the custom campaigns are separate third-party downloads.
If they don't have custom loading screens, people will see this:

Oh.
In that case, it's entirely up to you ;)

And that, gentlepeople, was all in one sentence. Henry Fielding would be proud of me.
You left out a comma.

Nonsense. We have seen your browsing history. We know you dig that sort of thing.

Unless we have a European earwig in our midst, we're probably OK ;)

Pendantry and dickweedery, all in the span of 5 words and 16 characters...nicely done. Have a on me.

And I don't get a gramming flag in the other thread? Hmph!

You did not go far enough, usually @HardwareGeek goes too far. This was just the perfect balance. At least for my tastes.

Have you watched 'Boston Legal'? I don't think you have it in you.
