Post draft in progress just generally gets in the way

I guess if I want to know how many unread and new topics there are, I should just cancel my post draft. It probably wasn't very important anyway...
This is what it actually looks like in a maximized window, still unreadable...

That's pretty much what it sounds like. In any case, it doesn't look like it's gonna get fixed unless we fix it for them.

If I have time to work on forum software, I'll work on writing my own.
