Well, I gave up fighting for a pendantry badge some time ago because I'm just not pendantic enough, apparently.
Sometimes the flag gods just need to smile down upon you. I got two Knight Pedantic Dickweed of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath exactly one month apart.

I'm still not pendantic enough for it, but I'm OK with this.
In other news my project for the weekend to learn me some Zend Framework 2 will need a mention in this category once it's done.
Enterprise grade FizzBuzz... in PHP.

These days, you have to bring your A game to get a badge.
Oh please, even then, you can't always (or in some cases, ever.)

"I’m not worried about ICD-10. Here’s why."
The answer boils down to one sentence:
there's plenty of functionally catch-all codes that I can get away with using for everything.
Although I wouldn't mind taking lessons from her, maybe she should at least learn the difference between a printer and a monitor before teaching others.

catch-all codes
That might be true for the healthcare professionals but the software they use has to fucking know and display them all correctly, make them searchable and let them find specifics and so on ...

I already accepted I'm never going to get a Knight badge for pendantry because I'm just not sufficiently pendantic and dickweedy at the same time.

I'm just not sufficiently pendantic and dickweedy at the same time.
It appears to be an unreasonably high barrier.

the software they use has to fucking know
Yes, but the point is doctors won't take the time to look up codes, because they're already swamped with paperwork.

Nah ... the point is to give software makers work. Never ending job security! Can't wait until version 11!

That's why it's funny.
the radii are wrong for those gears to synchronize.
They'd also block each other from turning.

Are you sure that's the only reason it won't work? I mean, you have amount, but there's a much more compelling reason why the gears will jam.

I'm more under the impression that they where put in place in such a way that they block each other from turning.

I like how it omits the school administrators. Are they the sand in the gears?
