convenience is a barrier to spellaring
Take a guess on what side @accalia is on the convenience - spellar scale ...
-
Oh! 8 know the answer to this one!
She is on the side of being lazy!
-
ah.... NOW the topic is correctly named.
-
i'm also pleasantly surprised that Chrome on my work windows 7 which almost never displays unicode correctly is correctly displaying this title.

is correctly displaying this title.
Although it looks a bit like monochrome clown barf ... Jeff would oppose ...
-
I wonder if @RaceProUKwill recognize it
i recognize it, but alas i cannot remember what game it's for, not what it does.
i've used it though.... i know that.......
/me wanders off for more tea to refill my caffeine system

Mis-buttumed the working of the office microwave, and did not heat my oatmeal at 50%.
Ended up with a crunchy pseudo-cookie for breakfast.
-
But the tablet is so convenient!
External BT keyboard! I loved my Think Outside. Too bad they stopped making 'em.

have one. use it sometimes. but i need to carry it too and the whole point of the tablet is to be more portable than my surface or my laptop.

There are tablet cases that include slim BT keyboards. Just sayin'.

yes. i am aware of those..... they're worse to type on than swype because of the tiny keys.
-
We're playing multiplayer right?
-
If you're pressing Start before Select, no.Now we would be.

Some of us double-check what we're typing so we don't make swype-os.

I think you have room to slow down a hair. But it's also a barrier to being teased about your exceptional spellar skills.
-
But it's also a barrier to being teased about your exceptional spellar skills.
true, but because it's so easy don't expect spellar flages from me about my own posts.
-
-
<and i'm just saying about not flagging for that. too easy a target. if you want your spellar badge pick on someone who makes it a challenge! :-P

wut were this abuot challungis? Challengse is fnu! Wehre du I sing up?
<I'm not giving flags for this one.>
-
<now correcting this yahoo's posts (at least the ones he's not doing it on purpose) would earn a spellar flag from me, because he does it so rarely!
-
-
<would you prefer something more coloquial?
-
On second thought, I'm good with yahoo.
-
<i thought you might be. ;-)

That is even worse than overusing <small> tags ...

true, but now there's a style that adds the view raw button for everyone if they select it from the avatar menu
-
view raw button
It just needs some tweaks, but otherwise, it works great for that purpose.
Just be nice if it could be an option on mobile, but that's the <weird and silly> Discourse design for you.
-
but that's the Discourse design for you.
<don't you mean "that's Jeff for you"?
-
I no longer consider any of the bad designs as just on one person. <Primarily on Atwood, yes, but not wholly>
-
Still not a fan.

ⒷⒶ→ⒶⒸ↑↓Ⓐ is one of my favorite cheat codes.<hr/>Filed under: I wonder if @RaceProUKwill recognize it
I didn't recognise the code, but your tags gave it awayWhich also reminds me; I have exactly one Game Genie code committed to memory: AA6T-AAXC. I would say guess the game, but you're just gonna Google it if you don't already know, so yeah, whatever ;)

without googling i'll bet $50 that it's a sonic game.
I can't imagine why you'd think that...
-
not taking the bet then?
-
I thought it was Sonic 2 before Googling, so I was close.
-
Although it looks a bit like monochrome clown barf
I thought mimes were the monochrome ones? Clowns are quite colorful.
-
MIME barf is what happens when your mail client corrupts an attachment, isn't it?
-
Not to be confused with MAME barf, when an arcade game ROM doesn't work properly
-
To get back to first world problems:
Other people on my team keep offering to make me coffee when they go for one, so I never get an excuse to go into the kitchen and eat the free biscuits
-
so I never get an excuse to go into the kitchen and eat the free biscuits
Your excuse is "I'm getting exercise" or "I'm taking the ergonomically-recommended break after 20 minutes to an hour of work".
-
I'm taking the ergonomically-recommended break after
20 minutesto an hourof workFTF<lazy people who don't finish work
-
Too lazy to type the rest of it?
-
That reminds me: time for a break!
-
I can't be the only one who works better when not in front of the computer — if by work is meant the thinking part — can I?
-
the thinking part
I'm know for swinging my chair around and not looking at my screen for a few minutes. And by known I mean that after some time my colleagues stopped looking strangely at me. Luckily because that was interfering with the process.
