Not quite, I removed the duplicate font definition (why are we declaring global html font size twice, exactly?) But you are right, that was unexpected...
Anyway, Kris is a designer, not a programmer, so I don't expect him to know everything.
Should be all fixed now.

It really would be awful if you expect someone working on your product to know what they're designing.

if they can't hand edit the CSS then they not good.
sure. use the tools. that's what they're for to make your life better, but know how to do the job without the tools

And if they're choosing to use SASS, I'd also expect their designer(s) to know or learn it specifically, considering it is effectively CSS and would be more of their domain.
