Sexy Sock Puppet Master List

Instead of leaving it blank by default? Which would be more sane then leaving their emails in and hoping whoever is setting it up doesn't skip that step.
-
But that's probably their "ping home" method!
-
hmm.. my apologies then. i misread the tone of voice.
edit: there's an a in misread.... -sigh-
-
The more ridiculous the *tfy the less seriously intended it is.
"Front Page Worse Than Failured That For You"
-
indeed.
5 internetz for you. more caffeine for me.
-
Instead of leaving it blank by default?
I can't remember what was in there - it may be blank by default. Been a couple of months since I last looked.
-
It's as good as blank by default.
-
example.com used to be a reserved, empty domain for illustrative purposes only. Then some dimwit decided that it should actually be a domain that shows an info page... This means that the owner of example.com could take over a bunch of Discourse forums if the admins didn't change this file!
-
Paging @Apple @codlnghorror @codinghorrorbot @LikeBot @Linux @Microsoft @SockAdept for account details!
-
SockAdept is private.
mine!
but i'll give a real, not digital, cookie to someone who can guess the password correctly using only this hint: The password is 47 characters long
-
My guess:
47 characters long
-
well played, but that is not the correct password as you can verify for yourself.
edit: wait.....what? i posted the big grin emojii... you know: : - D but without the spaces...
-
Can't find mine - @Linux has them.
-
... Typical.
@Microsoft relying on @Linux to save the day.
nonononono! that is not the emojii i typed! stop doing that!
-
I ... what?
-
... when did discourse get autocorrect?
cause i think someone added that and it's messing me up more than usual.
-
The @ autosuggest is buggy. If you outrun its suggest feature, it'll still pop up 3 words later and when you press enter/space/something will replace whatever you completed with whatever happened to be selected.
-
Filed under: FUCKING HELL WHY DOES IT DELETE ONE WORD 3 WORDS AGO WHEN I PRESS ENTER/SPACE/SOMETHING ONCE?

hunter2 written 6 times with 12345 after it?
-
no. and if anyone reading this has just seen their password it's ok. all we see is ******* (see, that's my password, but you can't see it!)
-
That brings back memories of my RuneScape days.
-
P@ССW0rド
Good thing it's stars and not actual letters~
-
no. and if anyone reading this has just seen their password it's ok. all we see is ******* (see, that's my password, but you can't see it!)
Oh and if Discourse actually worked this way, you know it wouldn't really star it out properly. It would do some kind of CSS thing instead but leave the plaintext password in the source for anyone with half a brain and F12 developer tools to locate.
-
SSSSH! You'll ruin the joke!
err... i mean.... don't give jeff any ideas!
-
-
that would be two hints, so....
PPPPPPTTHHHHHHHHP!
-
I'm sure someone here is now due for a whoosh badge, I just don't know who.

i've added @kibo
if the real kibo wants the account I'll gladly hand it over. Until then...
Wouldn't you need to xpost to usenet or something, to summon him the first time?
-
yes, i would. but then i'd have to pay my back charges to my usenet provider.
or find another one, but that's woooork.... and i am le lazy.
-
Filling in for SignatureGuy, I agree with whatever @LoremIpsum posted just above.
-
When Discourse bothers to actually send the verification mail so I can change the email address, then @CodingHorrorBot will be added.
-
@loopback0 Is Doing It Wrong™<t2219p134>
-
yes, i would. but then i'd have to pay my back charges to my usenet provider.
Meh. Surely you know someone who's still in college.
-
know, yes.
on good terms with... no
-
frack off discourse, of course i'm gonna necro this topic!
I've "borrowed" the following bots into the sockbot family:
- systern - Modules enabled:
- AutoLikes
- Anonymize
- SockPuppet - Modules enabled:
- AutoLikes
- Anonymize
I'll be adding BugMeNot, and SignatureGuy to that list today.
Does anyone have the passwords for LikeBot, Linux and Microsoft? I'd like to add them as well.
- systern - Modules enabled:
-
What makes you think I'm a bot?
-
Trying to assimilate all users of all devices to a single interface, for one.
-
Wouldn't that be more useful for @Apple?
-
Thankfully, their changes to OSX have been more conservative and sensible.
-
ok. Microsoft is off limits then.
i assume that holds true for Linux and apple as well?
-
Dunno. Ask their owners (or them) - I'm not related to either of those two.
-
Trying to assimilate all users of all devices to a single interface, for one.
You should have registered @Locutus for that post.
-
Wasn't there a Borg emoji at one time?
-
-
Yeah there is. :markov:
-
That's not what the alt text says.
Also, if you GIS "borg emoji" you don't get anything relevant.
-
Yes, I know it's not what the alt-text says but it blatantly is a Borg.
