Just sharing this.

I have trouble believing there'd be anything too NSFW on the Doom wiki but I'm still afraid to click that...
-
It's not like it's overly graphic. There's more risque things shown on TV than in that image.
-
Bah, it's not that bad. Here it is with a width attribute scaling it down:
-
A whole new definition for 'nailed that fucker'.
-

Until @system rehosts it and fucks it up.
-
That's the problem with making it run on a modern system.
The problems with the game so muuuch deeper. But you can make a samurai tiger-man, so there's that.
-
Do a view-source on that page and see if you can make anything out on it. That entire site is generated as two lines of HTML. You have to wonder what kind of clusterfuck it is on the back-end.
-
Probably got an email when you @tagged them, and came to see wtf we were bitching about.
-
Am I the only one surprised that the Discourse team members are still mods here?
-
You are not alone.
-
I lobbied to have that changed. Alex said no because it makes it easier if they need to come fix stuff. In other words, Alex is sucking up to his buddy Jeff.
-
Something is seriously wrong here, this is the gog.com homepage:
I think my work has somehow blocked half the site (maybe just the css files?)...
-
I kind of stopped dealing with Gog.com after they pulled that stunt where they pretended to shut-down for 2 days.
-
Was it a mess of bare hyperlinks and rainbow stripes at that time?
-
Hit F12, see what errors are in the console?
Only issue I have with GOG at work is logging in, since their login server is outside the US (or for some reason in our block list that matches outside the US IPs, I don't know, I don't manage the network).
-
..ahahah! AHAHAH! I have defeated the almighty web filter! I'M FREEEEE!
-
That happens to me a lot.
-
No, it was like a splashscreen implying they were out of business and your downloaded games were gone.
-
It was a publicity stunt, they apologised for it, and they did actually say even at the time that people who had a library would be given a chance to download them before 'closing'.
-
I do not give a shit. They lost me as a customer when they pulled that fuckery.
-
@Boomzilla recently became a 3rd degree blackbelt. He's now the Chuck Norris of TDWTF.
Ooh, we bow before @boomzilla' awesomeness. But with just you, @system and one of @PJH's sockpuppets, it must be awfully quiet in Turn Left.
-
Even though it was 4 years ago with absolutely no signs of such fuckery since? It must be a very interesting life you lead if you refuse to do business with every place that makes a bone-headed mistake.

Some ragequits take better than others.
-
But blakey's ragequit of TDWTF lacked the commitment to GOG.

When EA bribed the NFL to get an exclusive games license and shut-out Sega, because Sega had actually made a much better NFL game than Madden, I boycotted EA for ... until last years, so that's, what, 12 years? I only changed my mind when EA inexplicably for less awful, and Ubisoft sank in a mire of awful than EA could have only dreamed of.
-
It's almost like he secretly enjoys having something to bitch about here.
-
I thought that was the whole point of having this forum.
-
Not to bitch about Discourse it wasn't.
-

Yeah, almost.

Balloons, confetti, champagne popping open over in EA offices. And afterwards, the last few attendees shake each others hands and shut off the lights for good in the crusty old "Win blakeyrat back" crisis room.

I think either Blakey's drunk or his autocorrection is, because that sequence of words is very odd. I understand the meaning he's trying to convey, but the words garbled for sentence awful.
-
God I wish I were drunk
-
I still want to play arena.
-
Link posted earlier for your delectation.

You mean the link I posted?
I'm still working. Sort of. I've written several pages of technical details today -_-

You should've just simplified it to: "Just add a Noodle and Jam It!!!"
-
Oh, I knew the links had been posted, wasn't sure who without looking.
But yeah, still working is not good for gaming.
-
What I found so great is that it was a crystallising moment where everybody was in perfect sync, resulting in a great troll.
There's a screenshot in likes topic, of one of the meta.d posts with a quote pyramid of burnses liking burnses, I think.

Took awhile, but I found it... link
-
It's making me laugh out loud all over again just thinking about how that topic looked before they deleted all the good posts and force-changed our avatars.
-
"Use the Force, Jeff"?
Also, Discofailure again.
