She's dead, Jim

Discourse came, we complained for a while, and then it fell and broke its face.

My home laptop has more internet uptime, and I'm using Virgin Media :/
And no, I dunno what's wrong this time.

<hopeful mode>Maybe Alex has decided to stop using dicksores?</hopeful mode>

Not before porcine aviation becomes commonplace, I'm guessing.

Yay no more discontent! Oh wait, it's back.

This is a situation in which I miss Discurse's like button.

There is no like button, there's only a "love" button. (seriously, it's a pink heart. I don't know how else to interpret that)

I know the colors of this and other UI elements have been discussed, and I'm pretty sure this was changed. I don't remember whether CDCK changed it, or if this is some of the custom CSS PJH added for us.
In either case, on TDWTF at least, it's never pink. Its default state is gray. It turns red if you hover over or click it — even more like "love." However, the tool tips and the message if you click it (You and N other people liked this. Undo like.) all use the word "like," and that's what everyone calls it.
-
Sometimes there is a very thin line between love and like.

I have named that row of four buttons: "Human Sacrifice", "Slavery", "Conolialism" and "Dentistry".

Sadly, you are not the first person to spell "Colonialism" that way.

I've no idea what's going on this time.
From what I can see from the backups page, I'm guessing either the container ran out of space or it got trashed and someone's rebuilding it, since some of the older ones are missing. I'm inclined towards the former since posts more recent than the latest backup are still visible.
-
Wait, what? On a whim I decided to check back in today to see what happened to the forums and was like, "Oh look! Discourse is gone! Maybe I'll come back..."
So this is just a temporary thing?
-
Yup. Ran out of disk space.
-
What just happened? Sam did something about an update and then the site went down for 5 hours and now it's down again?
-
The instance the site is running on is getting blamed. It has been suggested Alex ask for it to be moved - apparently even the shell was taking ages to get anything done (I presume orders of seconds between typing something and it appearing on screen.)
