Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't modern Java compilers turn string concatenation INTO StringBuilders without the programmer's knowing?

What a silly product. However, I've saved TONS of money on rewinding fees since I got my DVD Rewinder.
according to SQLLite, 2^64 rows possible... in a single file?

Some of you may not be surprised, but they seem to have screwed something up.
For unknown reasons, when checking my e-mail, the skype on the Outlook website somehow connected to the Skype of my friend. Which is 20KM away from me on her own tablet logged into her skype.
Don't mind the actual conversation, it became totally random, and is also Dutch.
I'm not really into web programming, but i'm still surprised something like this can even happen.
Is that the president's daughter?

Actually, my mouse stuff with 8.1 in World of Warcraft (yea, some people call it a game, still) has gotten really flakey.
I haven't played anything else yet since 8.1 came out. I should go and see.
Anything that I might already own that you'd like tested?
ugh ... so much "odd" boolean logic used:
if (origFile == null || !test.equals(origFile) { . . .
There's no else branch.

Fscking hell ... I really buggered that whole thing up ...
if (!(fileArray[x].charAt(0) == '.')) { . . .
Its Java. The fileArray is retrieved via the listFiles method of a File object, using a FilenameFilter that solely looks for file names ending with ".dat". So the ACTUAL solution to the problem is to use the proper FilenameFilter which only returns the appropriate files.
It does the right thing, its just overly verbose ... and if you're not careful, you don't see the "!" due to the way its laid out and the comment doesn't match the comparison. I stared at it for 5 minutes not seeing the "!" and couldn't figure out why the logic of the program was the way it was.

You have either added an extraneous ')' parentheses or left off a '(' that is actually there
The latter, sorry ...
if(!fileArray[x].charAt[0] == '.')) { // first char is not a '.' . . .
