Yeah, that's a 1000sq foot building. That address matches a recycling center.. The phone doesn't.

Bonus WTF: After unjamming it, she just tossed the papers in the recycling bin without giving the shredder a second go.
This is why every business needs an incinerator. Or atleast a burn barrel. Not only is fire simpler, it can do a better job of eradicating information. Plus you can use the ashes to de-ice the sidewalk in the winter.

Nothing personal against you, I'm just sick of people on this forum and others (mostly on others) telling me how friendly and helpful the Linux community is and I've never been able to find this "friendly and helpful" subset before.
I could have told you that. Linux users fall into two groups: cranky old Unix guys and (this is becoming more and more common) Linux noobs who want to feel special or like they are "sticking it to the man" (ASheridan falls into this category). The former know enough to help but don't want to; the latter don't know enough to help but assume that getting through a single install of Ubuntu makes them an expert who can condescend to anyone who has trouble. The Linux community is a joke.
You missed a group, the overworked college prof. who only knows what he's doing half the time and your problem is never in his knowledge base.
I watched one of these "sudo rm -rf /" in the middle of a Linux+ cert prep class. He was adamant that the kernel would protect itself. It didn't. He paled, then he cursed. I laughed, then I cried.

I knew someone was going to mention the difference between implication and inference.
And for two dollars you can have my cousin.

RE: FACT_CHECK_NOT_FOUND
The sad thing is, it looked like the piece was going to have a point. Until the quoted bit, at which point it goes from inconclusive with substance to utter nonsense.

RE: Printing challenges
Changing the desktop is only the first step. You still have the screensaver, login splash, letterhead, etc. Assify everything.

Fwiw my former boss was featured on "undercover boss Australia" and I heard from former workmates virtually everyone recognised him. But he was a very hands on for a CEO, so he was never going to get away with it.
The one here (USA) had that happen last week. Probably didn't help that his ofice was nextdoor to the factory he was working at and that he stopped by for lunch often.
It was more of a failure on the part of whoever chose that location for him to do a factory bit. It's almost as obvious trying to be a gopher in your own building.
