RE: Please send me the appropriate VM
What "Indian jem" are you talking about? Other than leaving his email address and phone number (*slaps forehead*) on a public forum, I don't see the WTF. If you actually read his post in context, it is obvious what he is talking about.

RE: Microsoft minutes
Even if they get it wrong, it eventually gets close and is a relatively accurate indicator. What's worse is when it takes longer to calculate how long the operation will take than the operation actually takes.

WTF? Why would you order online and then go to the store to pick it up? Why not just go to the store and buy the item?
The real WTF - Buying anything from Best Buy
I don't know why everybody always knocks Best Buy / Circuit City / CompUSA. If Newegg doesn't have it or (more likely) you need it right now, those are all decent options. Obviously you're going to get ripped off and they'll try to sell you some kind of extended warranty, but that's a small price to pay for instant gratification. I've heard all the horror stories, but I've never had a single bad experience in any of those stores. Of course I always know exactly what I'm looking for when I go and never ask the staff for anything, so maybe I haven't given them enough opportunity to offend me.

I'm eating "expired" eggs as we speak. But two years past the expiration date seems a little much.
You haven't really lived until you've tried gum from a pack of 20-year old baseball cards.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion's mod was funny too in the US:
The ESRB has re-rated Bethesda's acclaimed RPG title Oblivion, following the discovery of a third party modification that adds female topless nudity to the game [...] In the US, the Xbox 360 and PC title was initially rated T (Teen 13+) and carries a standard ESRB description of Violence, Blood and Gore, Sexual Themes, Language, and Use of Alcohol. As a direct result of the third party modification available from the Internet, the game will be re-rated as M (Mature)
I suppose a 13 years old is allowed to kill in a bloody way, but seeing a breat is just too much
Wait a minute, that is just fucking ridiculous. Ignoring the way our ratings system handles violence and sex, it is just flat-out wrong to relabel a game based on a THIRD-PARTY mod. If you set that precedent, you have to do that for EVERY SINGLE FUCKING GAME EVER MADE. I cannot think of a game that doesn't have a nude patch out there somewhere.
Hmm. After researching it further it appears that the topless texture is actually shipped on the game disc (though I find this somewhat hard to believe). Now I'm not so sure they did the wrong thing. It's one thing if the third-party mod adds the texture, but it's something else if the texture is already in the game (even if it is locked/hidden). IMHO, the manufacturer has to be liable for ALL content shipped on the disc. So some joker stuck a topless texture in the game and now he cost his company a lot of money. For the record, I feel the same way about "Hot Coffee"; if it's shipped on the disc (even if hidden) you still have to be held responsible for it. Granted I think the way we treat violence versus sexuality is stupid, but the rules are what they are and you've got to follow them. I mean really, how hard would it have been to delete the topless texture before shipping (or not inserting it in the first place)?

RE: Profanity in comments
Those are all fairly weak. If you're going to be profane in your comments, you've got to impress me. It's too bad George Carlin didn't write code for a living. I bet he would have written some fantastic comments.
