a four-way stop with:
EB: One lane road that becomes two lanes: Left, Straight/RightNB: Two un-differentiated lanesWB: Left, Straight, Straight/RightSB: Two un-differentiated lanes
I usually come from EB going straight - works especially great when I stop at the restraining line, and the SOBUV that was behind me is turning left and stops on the crosswalk.
"Hey, it's my turn, but I can't see a blessed thing to my left, I wonder if that dump truck remembers that I'm here? Thanks dude!"
Effectively stealing my turn, and causing everybody else to lose track of which of up to seven drivers have the right-of-way.
Now that you mention it, I'm not sure I have personally ever encountered a four-way stop with multiple lanes from any direction...other than a traffic light being out, at which point nobody knows that's what they're supposed to do anyhow.
I'm sure there are probably some I've been near, but I can't remember actually experiencing any.
The closest I can think of is a three-way stop with the fourth direction having right-of-way, in a parking lot, and the direction without a stop is the only one with multiple lanes.
