Just claiming something is a "joke" doesn't mean you are not responsible if it is distasteful or offensive; consider someone making racist comments (which morbius's stuff bordered on) and then saying "hey everyone, no big deal, I was joking, it's ok!"
Wow dude chill out. Did the post actually get reported or something?Come on, morbius, you're better than that. You've shown you can be funny without resorting to "jokes" like that.
Ender -- please don't bother replying his comments in this thread, but definitely report posts like this if it becomes a consistent problem.
No, that's just Jeff S.

FF(3.0) with IE Tab works just fine... they must've only tested it in IE.

MPS wants the world of IT to be a better place by correcting one stupid idea at a time.
Laudable. But the thing is, he's not doing that. He's being abrasive for the heck of it, (mostly) without much content, and a special desire for having the last word; an inablity to let go of the Reply button.
MPS (or at the very least, you) feels he's calling people on their bullshit. The mods call him on his.
I agree that MPS must be called on his bullshit - but don't call his bullshit with YOUR OWN bullshit (like randomly deleting posts w/o notifying the poster, etc).

I agree. That is exactly what a moderator acting this way is.
Hi MPS -- I hate to be pedantic, but you must learn how to quote properly. You messed up a little and only quoted the last snippet out my post, not even a complete sentence, which of course makes any context impossible to ascertain.
It's great that you agree with what I wrote, but there are some people who will hold the "junior mini-moderator", who diligently reports and/or publicly criticizes improper quoting, to a higher standard when it comes to their forum skills. If you need help with quoting, just let me know, we can go over some exercises off-line.
Thanks again for your agreement and support.
Does that make you feel better, Jeff? You are now exactly what MPS used to be - a selfish, arrogant idiot whose only purpose for posting is for the LULZ.
If you are going to try to make MPS and morb feel like idiots, you had better try at least as hard as they do.

RE: The Epitome of WTF
Where's the WTF here? That IBM monsters which were never designed to talk to each other weren't able to?

So, in summary, the unarmed Irish police were such pansies they had to run to the British for help? Who was next on their list if the British had said no? The French?
The Care Bears, then the French.
The Care Bears, the Rugrats, Slovenia, then the French.

Certainly the license in my new combination computer/game-console system my company will be selling must fix it, which prevents me from suing you for copying it privately and allows you to sue anyone who tries to sue you for this kind of copying that the DMCA is supposed to allow the author to sue you for such things. Now they can't! My new company will fix everything!
This sentence parses correctly, but my brain is throwing compiler warnings because the semantics don't make sense. What in the name of god are you trying to say here?
Indeed, zzo. Please elaborate... in English, not Canadian. (Isn't Swampy Canadian?)
