RE: Press Anykey by Samsung
That is totally awesome. Sadly, it means that we will now have to stop writing "Press the any key" and instead use "Press the ANYKEY".

RE: The Viral Non-virus
We have a similar thing here, at my school. Some of us create an encrypted ad-hoc network when we want to chat, transfer files, etc.
There is now a permanent *unencrypted* ad-hoc network here by the same name.
Also, by most, I think you mean Windows.

RE: Internet Explorer function key template
I seem to recall the dish being related to "Channels", which was either an Active Desktop thing or something involving that screensaver, or something.

RE: Pervasive Recursive Frames
Well, for a cookie, it is not worth trying very hard. We can estimate, though.
Using all-caps, we get an average of what, 6 errors per tag? Times 18(?) tags is 108. There are no closing tags for any of the frames, so another 13 errors. Finally, ampersands are encoded incorrectly, and there is one of those for each frame, except for one frame that has 2.
My guess is therefore 135 errors.
Ed: W3C validator says there are 134 errors.

RE: C# marshal-by-reference
Well, I guess that is what happens when you are not careful enough when anonymizing code. Thay are all the same form, and it is just a regular WinForm.

RE: C# marshal-by-reference
I have no idea. The problem seems to be the .ToString, because in the real code, there is also a public boolean that I can access just fine. (eg. if (entry_form.percent) lblValue.Text += "%";)

C# marshal-by-reference
// In this example, frmEntry has a public decimal named amount.
frmEntry entry_form = new frmEntry();
if (entry_form.ShowDialog() == DialogResult.Yes)
{
// Actual intent. Causes CS0197.
lblValue.Text = discount_form.amount.ToString("f");// This works. decimal a = entry_form.amount; lblValue.Text = a.ToString("f"); // Microsoft's "fix" // See http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/cscomp/html/vcerrCompilerErrorCS0197.asp lblValue.Text = ((decimal)((object)(entry_form.amount))).ToString("f");
}
