You see, as SQLite is mostly used in web apps they joined and minified sources to optimize user experience!

RE: Wooden table #9548123
I don't understand. Is the WTF in searching for technical advice on youtube?

RE: Blue Thing Problems
Tell me about it. I had a pleasure to write a 'screen scrapper' (in fact of frustration I even considered OCRing the screenshots) tool to autoconfigure some of D-Link and Linksys routers.
My solution was ... oh...let say I used lots of XML, and still managed to convince myself, that it was the most sane way to parse that crap.

RE: Game Loops
What I find really funny about that thread, is the number of people who believe that even _infinite_ loop should have a _termination_ condition.
...Well I know that "infinite loop" is just an idiom, but still it just makes me smile:)

Naming convention WTF in reality
The real WTF is that this map is 100% accurate:

it's not so funny when you are waiting for an ambulance or a fire engine.

RE: Background check
(Actually, the instruction for the field "SSN" says "no hypens!", so this cheatsheet gives wrong advice, but I still like the way of explaining that 99999 is an example of (5) five "9"s...)
What's wrong with the idea of the checkbox "[v] I reside internationally" ?

RE: Only a government would have closing hours for an ONLINE resource!!
@cconroy said:
I know! When you do a search, the support staff has to be there to receive the request, run over to the files, look up the information and type it back to you... really, really quickly.
That was my first thought. But not exactly, since mine involved a wooden table.

RE: Spot the WTF -- ASSERT() gone horribly wrong
How does your version prevent the problem with dangling 'else'?
And the assert implementation from <cassert> header in VS (I don't remember 2003 or 2005) does not execute any side effects when compiled in Release mode.

RE: Best Linked List Ever
Why would anyone need so many cases?
list * * find(list * * head_pointer, key_type key){
while(*head_pointer){
if((*head_pointer)->key==key)
return head_pointer;
head_pointer=&((*head_pointer)->next;
}
return 0;
}
void kill(list * * result_of_find){
if(result_of_find)
*result_of_find=(*result_of_find)->next);
}
