Best of Bread SAAS

  • This isn't the first place that I saw the phrase, but I think it'll do:
    https://www.google.com/search?q="best+of+bread"+saas

  • I'm confused.

It's simple really.  There's a saas (tomato based, I believe) that you're supposed to dip your best bread in.  That is all...

<br Is this bread, per chance, in stick form? Perhaps with cheese, or some sort of garlic mixture?

Isn't Sourdough-as-a-Service some village on the English coast?

You know, linking to a google query doesn't always mean that the others can get what you got back. Google results are not the same for someone in the USA or Europe, and they change over time. Right now the top link for your query is this forum post for me and the rest is all Software as a Service related.

Well, this thread reaching the top is somewhat amusing, but honestly, the fact that people don't know how to spell "breed" in their marketing materials and write this phrase instead is hilarity in and of itself. I wasn't going for anything specific. The initial posting I saw which inspired this was actually about "breading loyalty" in an organization's customers. I figure this process has to be similar to breading a chicken.

    You can breed software now?

You're right, but, if you look at all the results returned from that query, even if your results are different from his,  I'll bet every one of them uses the phrase "best of bread" when they mean "best of breed".

It might be a spell check thing since bread and bread are both legitimate words, so it won't be flagged as misspelled, but are there really that many people who don't know how to spell breed?

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought he was referring to this.

Actual bread companies have used the phrase in their advertising.  In fact, I think one of those venerable Kermit Schaefer blooper records had some announcer getting his tang all tongueled up and urging listeners "Always reach for the breast in bed!"

    +1 wba

  •  I think (I'd have to go through a few crates to be sure) that I have a CD called "The Best of Bread", with songs on it like "Baby I'm-A Want You", "Everything I Own" and "The Guitar Man".

NTKnow used to do a weekly "Google Goofs" - such as how many websites still had an index page entitled "Your Page Title Goes Here" or so.

Apparently some sites provide documented evidence of software as a bastard offspring.

Thank you for sharing this link. NTKnow is the ugliest site I ever saw. It's worse than the old GNU.org! Now I have to go look at pictures of Alyssa Milano to soothe my mind and put the universe back in balance.

I'd rather shop on sandman.com than browse the NTKnow site again. (By the way, Sandman is still selling the best seat in the house!)

If you look at the dates it was active, you'll see why: it started back in the HTML3 days and was originally an email circular which predated HTML email and also ceased updating before Web2.0 was around, so was focussed upon content than presentation.

It was never really intended to be a website - the site's just an archive of their circulars.

Then you haven't been around when I posted this site. They have actually improved it heaps though; it used to have a yellow background and be created in MSHTML-creating software (Word or Powerpoint or something).

My favorite part is that it's too wide for my browser window, so it cuts off the right edge while leaving the four identical images that have nothing to do with the site taking up the entire left half* of the page.

I hate to repost, but did you check sandman.com? It looks like an online version of those cheap placemats covered with ads that are used in truck-stops on the I29 and other god-forgotten places.

The important part: "Bidet" feature is for women, "Family" feature is for everyone (code name for asshole). Watch the video, it looks sooooooooooooooo pleasant.
