Worms feel no pain...

  • OK, the part that got me is where it says:

"Norway might have considered banning the use of live worms as fish bait if the study had found they felt pain"

What's next? Are they going to sue the fish that eats the worm?

  • Lol, in high school I was forced to test the learning capacity of worms
by letting them crawl either through little pieces of paper or little
pieces of glas. I always felt pity for the worms hurt and in pain
because of the cuts from the glass...

  • Which means that if the worms can't feel pain, your experiment must have failed =)

  • well, it did work out. We had tasty food in the papers, but tastier
food in the glass. After about 20 to 40 times, the worms start to go
for the food in the papers  more than 70% of the time while in the
beginning, the worms tried the glass about 70 to  80%

I supose they don't feel pain, but do notice that glass can harm them...
