Not IT WTF - IMDB errors
-
Not IT related as such, but looking up details regarding Cars 2 (My 2 year old loves Cars!) and found that their suggested viewing is something I never considered along the lines of Cars.

Automatic recommendations makes a mistake, news at 11.
-
If you liked "A 2" you might like "B 2" ... because hey, it's a sequel too!
-
True - but I would expect someone to be able to program the automatic recommendation selector to distinguish a kids film and a horror! - Let's see, could we use genre (guess they must store that somewhere).
Also - it may help IMDB if they supplied a link next to the auto recommendations to report not suitable etc.
I know this is minor, but it made me smile when I saw it.

In other news, Cars 2 is going to suck.

-
... Top Gun 2 ...

- TRWTF is you linking to an image of the complete webpage instead of, for example, linking here. Or maybe a screenshot of the relevant portion.
- While the cause of this might be a WTF, the result is merely a fail, imho. You'd rather post it here, with all the other recommendation fails.

Both of those seconded.
Also, the first one to post the amazon recommended products fail at release gets a free recommendation for a bullet in the head.

No, linking to the live recommendation page would have been a fail, because when I look at that, Grudge 2 is no longer on the list. Don't link to volatile data if you want to show its state at a particular point in time.Of course your recommendation of a screenshot of the relevant bit would have been a better way to go.
