Segway company owner dies in apparent Segway accident - CNN.com
The owner of the Segway company has died, apparently in an accident involving one of his upright two-wheeled vehicles, police in England said Monday.
At least he went out doing what he loved.

Note that this is not the guy who invented the Segway, Dean Kamen, but rather entrepreneur Jimi Hendelson, who just purchased the Segway business in this past year (January 2010).

There is one thing about this story that is puzzling me. If he owned the land, how exactly did he accidentally ride his Segway off a 30 ft cliff? If he was unable to stop the vehicle, it surely should have occurred to him to jump off before reaching the cliff.
