Email validation made easy.
Fake email entries are trouble in any online registration system, but here's an approach I saw on one online job application system that had me intrigued./
"If you do not have an email address, please create a fictitious one such as: email@example.com."
So that when they want to inform you about a possible job opportunity, you will completely miss out!
I kind of like this approach. It just sounds to crass to say "If you don't have an email address, you probably are not tech savy enough for us to hire."
And how about adding a checkbox to the form... "Check here if this is a valid e-mail address."
