Community server thread counts
Not that it comes as a surprise that our forum software is buggy, but I just noticed this one:
Saved as a JPEG for the lolz. I don't think this due to spam deletion, since other subforums like this one aren't counted differently. My mind boggles to think of code that doesn't even sum consistently. Fun times, Community Server.
I can tell you that there are 5803 threads in the deleted threads forum. However, they are (by far) not all from the sidebar. Whenever we get a big spam hit, they're usually confined to funny stuff, contest discussion, and I-Hate-Oracle.
We discussed this one a while back in this thread. I think we settled on potatoes.
Ah, I guess I ought to visit
GBSGD from time to time.
As sick as it sounds, I'd really like to view Community Server's source code. Sadly, telligent.com is blocked at my place of employment, and I know for sure I will immediately stop caring as soon as I get home.
The list of boards is, from what I've seen, cached. After deleting spam, the spam doesn't appear in the boards themselves, but are still listed for a short time in the list of boards as the most recent post.
Hey, now it's at 4778 and 4801. Both have been incremented by one. Silly potatoes.
4800 / 192 = 25 but at the moment it's 4804 and 4781 in the overview
