I'll give you a hint as to who did it:

"Morgan (or indrora) is a programmer from New Mexico. He’s done lots of work and is soon going to publish a lot of that work on this blog."

Hmmm... I think I need another hint.
I originally misread the name on the front page as Morgan Gangrene. Does that help?

It's as if GM designed a car that blew up 90% of the time you tried to start it.  And the engineers were like "Yeah, but it kills 90% of everybody who starts it; blacks, old people, Jews, poles, wimmen..."

That makes a lot of sense.  Everything we've seen so far screams "dipshit who just graduated or possibly didn't graduate from high school."  Although the trainwreck is amusing, it would have been funnier if it had come from a "professional".

Excuse me? Somtimes High schoolers can do a reasonable job.

Possibly, but that site is godawful. Unreadable text, pointless mouseovers, oh and here's a free little tip: if you have to give people instructions on how to activate your links, your site design sucks.

Ugly is ugly; it's not negated by comparing it to something even uglier.  Does morb stop being a strung-out junkie because you stand him next to Amy Winehouse?  Does Welbog stop being adorable because you stand him next to Kirby?  Does btk stop being pantless because you stand him next Adam and Eve before they ate from the tree of knowledge?  I think not.

  • From Indora's site: http://sonof.bandit.name/files/wishlist.html

Did you know you can buy BY-THE-POUND furry porn comics!

$1 per pound! How did I survive before Indora brought this to my attention!??

Edit: AaaaaaAAAAaaaaaAAA! How the HOLY FUCK do you correctly post links in Community Server? It seems to go out of its way to break them no matter how I put them there!!!! ... oh well, remove the trailing space, sorry.

Classy. I'm loving this "files" directory, you homosexual freak lab accident neutral-chaotic time-bender you!

Your life will be split into before and after.  There is no going back, no unseeing that which is seen.  Your days will be colder, your nights more restless.  All the great events of your life shall be haunted by the shadow of this knowledge, and the worst moments will be bleaker for it.  Eventually you'll find yourself calmly smothering your newborn child with a pillow to save him from ever having to know.  It will be the first thing you think of each day, and the last thing you think of before the bullet penetrates your skull, granting you the sweet release of death.

Right. I just totally lack the energy to complain about such a site while memories of things so much worse haunt me. I surmised, as you guys have the energy to complain, you must have at least halfway gotten over those.

And the other one (http://www.coriponder.net/) makes you dizzy with the absurdly fast title scrolling.  Wonder of they could have made it go faster?  Or made the page uglier.

I take you haven't found this yet.

  •  "FSBCH.com has undergone a massive makeover to incorporate new age quality professionalism and design."

Something tells me "Chris" came up with that, not the bank.

  •  Professionalism is.... a "Webmaster" link that is a mailto: your own hotmail account.

  • And I got to this too late. The Sicness site is already down for, I suppose, redevelopment.

(Did anyone get screenshots or save the HTML?)

Aww. I just managed to catch it off guard for a moment, here's home

    and the portfolio

  • Wow. How... unprofessional. The random anti-Twitter rant that seems to have nothing to do with anything is particularly WTF-worthy. Not to mention the whole "I am THAT good!" bit on the portfolio page-- and what, precisely, does he mean with "borrowing the idea of a great web developer"?

  • Rofmao.. Yall are pretty funny. This is Feelthesicness. By the way... the jackass that called to harass the bank?? Yeah not cool.. For those of you who dont know the situation and circumstances for which that website was created and what is was created from.. Dont talk. The hit counter?? Yeah THEIR idea... thats been there since the site was created in like 2005. They wanted to keep it I advised against it.

And my site?? I really dont care. Bash it all you want. It is a shit site. I did it for a quick profile for college. I even took the template from an online template site. Got me an A i could care less. As far as the broken links go, yeah i put them there for a reason. The two companies are no longer working with me. The one guy... CP? Yeah he was on jerry springer in a dress sayin he liked men and wanted to be a chick, cool beans. Legendary Illusions was absorbed by a St Louis web company in 2008. Both links are broken but i had to put affiliations up for part of the course.. Most of the shit on their was rambling. at 3am before class anyways. The hover images? Yeah i know they dont work right, never have. It is a hover thing someone else designed that wasnt working in my page because of containment and contraints that i never put it and didnt care to put in.

The profile page copied exactly from my myspace page so go fuck yourself. I made that site a year ago and havent really cared enough to change it. Took it down because of foul language and the harassing phone calls to the bank in question. Seriously? Are we 10? "Hey is your refrigerator running?"

I got that job by word of mouth. 30+ websites that dont run under my name directly or my company so dont pull that crap with me. If you want to get technical, Its not even a registered company, wanna bitch about that too?. I never once coded the feelthesicness.com website it was all done for a school project. I put it up and never cared to take it down. No one seemed concerned with it till you losers decided to intervene. By the way, i dont manage the Banks server. its egyptian internet. I have neither that password nor the login so whoever is saying they can hack it good for them i really dont care. Its not my problem, i told them to call egyptian. I personally dont host anything so i dont have that problem. I make the site, give it to them they upload it. Simple as that. Im not claiming to be some master web developer, never have never will. I do my part thats all i care about. Gets me paid. I do what is asked. ESP when i comes to counters... every damn person ive built a website for says they want counters on there because of something to do with the demand for the site? Yeah kinda lame i told them to just check the server. I dont do Internet banking because its too much responsibility and too much can go wrong. IB through their site will be managed off site by another company entirely through a different website. Redirection. Their first site was done in Frontpage/Publisher with clipart. Trust me its much better off now.

Either way the site is down, get the hell over it. Screenshot cached files idc. Not my problem, its your life. I suggest finding a new one?

Aaand seriously wtf is wrong with the igloo computer?? It sold for $2500. You tell me something you built that made no sense but made money off of it. Lay off me seriously. Im making money, your arent. get over it. I seen a computer/toilet that posted to twitter every time someone flushed the damn thing. Pointless?

I know the difference between html and CSS. Just seemed better to put html.... suck it.

Either way forward all hate mail to the following Werlinlord@hotmail.com. Or tweet about it i dont care.

  • @feelthesicness said:

    This is Feelthesicness.
    That was quick.

  • oh and about the whole testimonial thing... yeah that is mine. What of it? They was supposed to switch them out once every couple of weeks. Part of a new program. Eh no biggy. Only cost them $400. Big deal? I think not.

Thanks for the input though people.

You'd be surprised how much Walmart shelf restockers make.

Actually, that's a complete lie. I have been a Walmart shelf restocker, and I can tell you that they make exactly what you'd think they would, and they have exactly the level of sanity and human spirit you'd expect.

You realize that not every forum on the Internet is populated by high-school shit talkers, right? Has it occurred to you that this forum might be populated by IT professional shit talkers? IT professionals who, among other things, design, build and maintain high-profile web sites and are paid significantly to do so? Or did you just come to the site, register an account and start running your mouth without even glancing at the site's theme?

  • @feelthesicness said:

And my site?? I really dont care. Bash it all you want. It is a shit site. I did it for a quick profile for college.

I did a site for school once, too.  I didn't buy a domain name for it, though, nor did I claim I was "THAT good".

I made that site a year ago and havent really cared enough to change it. Took it down because of foul language and the harassing phone calls to the bank in question.

So wait, now the website of the creator of the bank's website isn't even running?  If the website of the creator of *my* bank's website was permanently offline, I think I'd be looking for a new place to bank.

every damn person ive built a website for says they want counters on there

If that's the case, you're probably building websites for the wrong people.

Aaand seriously wtf is wrong with the igloo computer??

You mean you don't know?  And who paid $2500 for that piece of junk?  Was a 15" 1280x1024 the best you could do for $2500?  And did you realize that the insulation in the cooler probably makes the machine run hotter?

You tell me something you built that made no sense but made money off of it.

People buy lots of stupid things.  Doesn't make those things less stupid.

    Im making money, your arent.

I'm pretty sure the online retailers that pay my salary have bigger websites than anything you've ever worked on... and, as others have pointed out, I'm pretty sure I make more than a wal-mart stockboy.

Anyway, guys, I dunno why we're bothering to respond to this guy.  He probably won't even read our responses, though his responses to our responses would be fun to read...

Hey I design cool shit. I drew a cool diagram the other day of a dog shooting lasers from his eyes to rob a bank. If that's not a cool design and phat loot then I don't know what is.

All he needs is a degree, five years of thankless drudgery, and slightly better grammar, and he'll be indistinguishable from the rest of the forum!

So how does this look on a browser that doesn't even understand what style is.

It looks pretty awesome under Lynx - relative to normal, of course.

That having been said, I have seen web pages made by a high-schooller that didn't suck.  However, she had months of training before her employer let her do web pages without requiring a review and extensive post-review edits before letting any customer see it, and months of experience after that before she made her own site.  However, she also had the advantage of entering the field before it was really complicated.  No Flash, no Shockwave, and JavaScript wasn't expected.  Java was still slower than slow, and background gifs weren't common.

If he built the thing for $450 because some moron asked for it, and sold it for $2500 because the guy was that crazy, he's doing OK.

I wouldn't talk it up that much even in that case, but maybe the moron's big and mean.  Maybe he has to put up a good front to save his skin.
