Lock-in
-
From http://www.knowledgetree.com/products ... so I can upgrade from Knowledge Tree Community to Knowledge Tree Enterprise! I'm not sure that's exactly what "No Lock-In" means...
-
seems to me that they are somewhat transferrable - so that you can port up your existing data instead of being locked to using a product and only works with that edition/version.
-
I guess my point is that when I think "No Lock-In" it means my data will be stored in some open, standard format that will let me easily transfer it to any solution I want. Saying I can migrate to other editions of their product with ease doesn't give me much assurance.

It's obvious that there's no lock-in - as seen in the diagram, you're safely contained in the Business Benefits "Ring of Hope" Also, dontcha know Open Source != evil?? We're living in the 21st century...we're in 2.0 land now.
