Is it a real WTF if the Contact Us page on a website throws an error, but then includes contact details in the error message?
See http://www.melton.vic.gov.au/Page/Page.asp?Page_Id=32&h=-1 - it does:
Contact UsThis page has been deleted.
Please contact the Webmaster for more information.
Or maybe the real WTF is this?: Contact Us

What else is there to do in this error situation?
-
*yawn* It's late. How are you nerds doin'?

At least they didn't have a recursive link back to the deleted "Contact Us" page.

Haha I don't know why, but I found that whole thing incredibly funny! An accidental contact page. I love it! :)
Is there an opposite of the mug that I can hand out?

The opposite of the mug is quoting the OP for no apparent reason.

Hmm, perhaps because I was referring to it? I sorta had the impression that that's basically the reason for quoting.

It is the OP, it is a given that you are replying to it. No need to quote it.
Cue the 20 different people that will now turn this into a flame war for no reason.

I think the general consensus is that you don't need to quote the OP, unless you're responding to a specific point he/she made.

And even then, it is rarely necessary to quote the entire OP.

Right, but I would rather be a loser on a forum all the time, than someone who joined a forum just to add a stupid comment like yours.
Talk about needing to get a life...

The general consensus, at least on most boards I visit, is that if you quote nobody then you're responding to the person immediately above you.
That's assuming that it isn't a threaded style of discussion, which this board kinda sorta wishes it was. Kinda.
What it really comes down to is, who cares? In general, quoting adds more clarity, and it's not like we're being charged per byte.

And at the same time, it was worth it for you to argue this far about it.
