Tv channel schedule

  • This is the official schedule for a Russian TV  channel 2x2, which shows translated stuff from Cartoon Network.

  • ISTR the "NO." being larger and darker than that.

  •  It lacks a wooden table.

  •  Is the wtf the oblongs?

    Or something else?

    Maybe that the whole page is one big JPG? Or perhaps that in the small hours of tomorrow morning, viewers of 2x2 can look forward to nearly 5 solid hours of "Prophylactica"...

    The cartoons on the right-hand side are cute though.

    Not to mention the alt attribute...

     The image “http://2x2tv.ru/setka/setka.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

  • The ALT attribute is correct:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

    <html>
    <head>
        <title>Программа 2х2</title>
    </head>

    <body style="margin: 0px;">

    <img src="setka.jpg" alt="" border="0">

    </body>
    </html>
Syntactically yes, but the alt attribute should give a short description of its image, not some error message having nothing to do with it. Instead it seems that whoever coded this expects to have the browser display the alt text in case the image should be damaged. OK, it's more of a chuckle than a real WTF but still...
