    That's 60 USD per year...



  • This kind of thing is really rather common, as a result of standardised forms expecting the pay per (specific) time, while the employer wants to give it in per (different) time. Confusing annums with hours is particularly obvious; however, confusing weeks with months might not raise red flags immediately.

    Also, their job ad has just got a shedload of extra publicity! Too bad for them you didn't include who it was.

  • They might have meant 30,000 per year?  Or they might have meant 30 per hour.  The world may never know.
