I'm not 100% sure if this is a WTF or just some in-joke, however it doesn't look right and I'm sure it used to have an actual figure...

Nah, they're just being practical. Their payroll system uses Decimal, so it can only handle up to Decimal.MaxValue as a salary. So if you are asking more than that, you need to find a different company.
