They're real!

  • Initech

Only now they apparently sell archery bows...

Came across these at a large local sports store. Got an outloud WTF out of me.

  • They even have their own little WTF: this is clearly a tiny recurve bow, but the picture on the box is of a classical longbow - an entirely different kind of stick.

  • I'm not surprised that the name was used for something... but archery equipment? WTF?

  • Wow, that picture hurts my eyes...  Cell phone pic?  Or did you just forget your glasses that day.... ;-)

I wouldn't use the word "clearly" to describe anything in that image, but nicely done.

  • Yeah, cellphone pic, from a Qtek Pocket PC, a bundle of WTFs of it's own.

    Here's a hopefully clearer picture...

WTF! I just tried viewing this site in Firefox with javascript disabled. 5 screens full of links to nowhere in particular. Turn javascript on and it magically disappears.

Obviously done for search engine traffic, but deliberately giving search engines a different view to normal users is grounds for getting your site banned. I know Google has this policy, and I am sure other do as well. How not to do a website.

The advertising slogan is a little strange, too: "With an Initech solution, you can put all your eggs in one basket" :)

  • Their tagline says it all: Solutions for the "Real World".

  • I can't seem to find them using a Google seach. Maybe they've already been banned?

Doesn't make a difference, or freaking WebmasterWorld would have been pulled loooooooooooooong ago.
