Minimum posts per page
-
I set the posts per page to 2, and yet I get only one.
-
I set it to six and this happens:
If I can't scroll, it doesn't emit a more posts request. If it doesn't do that, I'm mostly stuck there...

Testing out a theory that Chrome Mobile can't handle the DOM if it has too many things in it.
It seems to have helped a lot, actually.

Does the down arrow at the bottom of your screen do anything?

The one that goes to the OP does, and if I happen to not be at the last post the one that goes to the end also does. Otherwise, no, the page isn't tall enough to scroll so the other ones do nothing.

enough to scroll
What's funny, if there are posts that jelly-potato the page, this might be enough to get it to trigger and fill in more posts.
But there's definitely an off-by-at-least-one when scrolling up; I see the events firing and giving back the right number of posts, but two are usually posts that are on screen at the moment...

what. The. Fuck.

@tsaukpaetra but you're not in paginated mode? Why?! That setting really only makes sense when you're in paginated mode.
I'm trying to remember how it decides to start unloading stuff from the DOM. Is that even affected by your infiniscroll "page size" setting?

Clearly not.

Yes.

Yes.
I'm talking about how far up posts can scroll (above the top of the window) before they get removed from the page's DOM.

And the answer is yes. It is affected.

Bump. Whatever recent change (last day or two) occurred broke the minimum posts per page, at least in pagination mode. I had had it set to 50 (the maximum), but somehow it was reset to 20, and now I cannot get it to persist with 50. It won't save anything above 20.
-
@djls45 Apparently "default: 20, max: 50" doesn't mean max: 50. I've set both to 50 for now.

I could have sworn you said something almost exactly that!
Was it here?

I tried putting 20 in the "default" slot this time.
