Google will pull YouTube support from Amazon Fire TVs in 2018

No more YouTube for yet another Amazon device.

Hopefully they will just pull it from the store and you'll still be able to sideload it...

There's nothing good on Youtube anyway. Good Mythical Morning sucks now. Maybe PBS SpaceTime is still worth watching, but you can watch that on the PBS channel.

As I understood (in a Dutch article) they already pulled it, but Amazon worked around with the web version, and google's planning to block that too.

You and I have very different tastes. I'm subscribed to over 1000 channels at the moment (most of which upload rarely so I am not overflowing with videos) and I always have a good source of entertainment, to the point that I really see no point in other streaming services or TV/movies.
