This will only make sense to a small subset of the forum denizens, but in 1995, Percy Nilegård (a character in a Swedish TV show) invented "marketing by not asking any questions first". His idea was to mention random companies in his radio show, then send them an invoice.

My bet is “no”. It’s just some people would like it to be the other way around, plus they get excited and like to laugh at people being entitled and wrong. So that’s what they post here. ;)
